I am a video journalist and producer with more than 14 years of experience working in international newsrooms across the Middle East, the US and India. Throughout my career, I have produced video journalism for digital, television and social platforms, taking stories from idea to publication. My work includes pitching story ideas, arranging interviews, filming, scripting, editing in Adobe Premiere Pro and writing articles on deadline.
Over the years several of my videos have reached millions of viewers, with multiple stories exceeding five million views across platforms. Most recently, I have worked with The National in Washington, DC, producing video coverage of US politics and foreign policy for international audiences. My recent work includes reporting on COP30 in Brazil, refugee communities navigating changing US immigration policies and the global implications of President Trump’s Middle East policy.
Before moving to Washington, I was Deputy Head of Multimedia at The National in Abu Dhabi, where I helped lead video coverage across the Middle East, Europe and North America. I co-ordinated production across teams in multiple countries and managed coverage of breaking and planned news events. The role strengthened my editorial judgement, my ability to work calmly under pressure, and my experience collaborating across large, international teams. Coverage I helped oversee, including reporting on the Israel-Gaza war and an investigation into Dubai Police’s fight against Captagon smuggling, received international recognition, including a 2022 AVA Digital Award.
I enjoy finding visual ways to explain complex stories, whether by working with reporters on camera or building a story through narration, editing and graphics.
I am a member of the Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA).

Hey Naman… these are my original reported stories… These days I have mostly been copy editing or producing shows… so I don’t get to report often. But I will be posting stories in a day or two. Thanks for your kind words 🙂
What kinda shows ?
Well… I used to work for daily shows… such as Inside Story for Al Jazeera English at that time… Now I am working on mainstream news
